About Us

Penshurst Panthers are located at Olds Park in Penshurst. We welcome all junior players – boys and girls – between the ages of 5 and 17. The Penshurst RSL Panthers Junior Australian Football Club (JAFC) has a long and proud history of involvement in junior Australian Rules football in the St George and Sutherland districts. The club is the oldest established junior club in the Southern Sydney region and since its inception in 1954, has played a significant role in promoting the game and developing local footballers in our region.

Our Associations full name is the ‘Penshurst RSL Panthers Junior Australian Football Club Incorporated’ and our Incorporation Number is INC9887772. Our ABN is 30 498 670 574. We are governed by a Constitution which is available under the “Documents & Forms” page.

The club is managed on a voluntary basis thanks to the parents, carers and community members who put themselves forward annually to join the Committee or take on one of the many jobs that make the year a success. Our Club Patron is Mr Paul Bateman OAM. Likewise our coaches and managers are all volunteers who love the experience of helping our boys and girls develop new skills, friendships and generally have a good time. At the Panthers we pride ourselves on being a family club.

The Panthers compete in the AFL Greater Sydney Juniors – Sydney Harbour Competition.
